We’re a book club and literary community dedicated to reading in full color.

Stories told by women of color aren’t niche. They’re essential to the canon. We exist to celebrate and read the work of women of color writers who make our literary world more brilliant.

If you’re craving rich, well-written stories that transcend trends, this space is for you. Together, we’re discovering can’t-put-down reads that give us worlds to get lost in, characters that leap off the page, and scenes that we can’t stop thinking about.

Each month, we’ll choose a book that is written by a woman of color author and offer space to reflect and discuss. Come as you are, leave with a better bookshelf 🌻 📚.

About Iantha

Iantha Richardson is an actress, director, and producer from Prince George’s County, Maryland. Her creative work spans film, television, and performance, shaped by her background in dance and her studies in African American literature and film. You may know her from her role as Adult Tess on NBC’s "This Is Us," or more recently, as Faith Mitchell on ABC’s "Will Trent."

Whether on set or behind the camera, Iantha gravitates toward stories that can be deeply felt. Toni’s Nook is an extension of that creative instinct. Inspired by her mother’s lifelong love of reading, Iantha created this community to celebrate the stories and voices that shaped them both. It’s a literary space grounded in care, imagination, and the joy of being in good company with a book in hand and a sense of home in reach.
